Werner – Beinhart! ist ein deutscher Real- und Zeichentrickfilm, der 1990 von Bernd Eichinger produziert wurde. In dem Film spielen sowohl der Comic-Held Werner als auch der Erfinder Brösel (Rötger Feldmann) mit. Es werden abwechslungsweise Comic-Szenen und reale Szenen gezeigt. Etwa 5,5 Millionen Zuschauer sahen den Film im Kino, was Werner – Beinhart! zu einem der erfolgreichsten deutschen Filme macht. (de.wikipedia.org)

When working as a teacher in Austria in the 1950s, Mr. Hugo Bonatti discovered his love for literature and recitation. He began to write poems, novels and short stories. Additionally to his occupation as an author, Bonatti recited his own text as well those by other famous German-speaking writers and gave lectures at universities in several European countries as well as in the United States. He received the Prose and Drama Award of Innsbruck and is vice president of the P.E.N. club in Tirol, Austria.

Here at UVa he will read his one person, one act play „Die Abreise“ on Siegmund Freud as well as other texts, light ones as well as serious ones.

Free food and softdrinks will be provided by the Max Kade German House. Everybody is welcome!

A small group from the German House made the trip to Observatory hill tonight to take a look through the telescope. They didn’t even point the telescope at the moon, because you could only see a small fraction of its surface through it. They had a portable one for the eclipse. What we could see through the main telescope, though, was the Omega-Nebular and, the thing that impressed me most, the planet Saturn and its rings. Cool!
